Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and Electrical Characterization of Polymeric Haloplumbate(II) Systems

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis and characterization of haloplumbate (II) systems are described, and the counterions are diprotonated linear aliphatic amines, such as the 2-methylpentane-1,5-diamine (2meptH2) and propane -1,3-Diamine dications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Condensation of thiourea derivatives with carbonyl compounds: one-pot synthesis of N-alkyl-1,3-thiazol-2-amines and of 3-alkyl-1,3-thiazolimines

TL;DR: In this paper, the reactions of ketones and N-substituted thioureas, in the presence of HCl (or HBr) and DMSO afford mixtures of the title compounds which are easily separated on a silica gel column.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monomeric and oligomeric phosphates as deflocculants of concentrated aqueous clay suspensions

TL;DR: In this article, the deflocating ability of some phosphates, with different P2O5/Na2O molar ratios, towards very concentrated aqueous suspensions (62.5 wt.%) of three clays (named Castellamonte, Samone and Debbia), widely used in the factories of Sassuolo (Italy), has been investigated by means of rheological measurements in the absence and the presence of calcium (II) ions (0−6·10−3 mol dm−3).
Journal ArticleDOI

The crystal and molecular structure of chlorobis(N-ethyl-1 3-imidazolidine-2-thione)copper(I)

TL;DR: The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined from x-ray diffractometer data by the heavy-atom method and refined anisotropicically by least-squares calculations as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanism of the formation of 1,2,4‐thiadiazoles by condensation of aromatic thioamides and of N‐substituted thioureas

TL;DR: In this paper, the mechanism of thiadiazoles formation from both starting classes of compounds, thiobenzamides and N-substituted thiourea, is collected and discussed.
