Chiral and continuum extrapolation of partially-quenched hadron masses
TL;DR: Using the finite-range regularization (FRR) of chiral effective field theory, the chiral extrapolation formula for the vector meson mass was derived for the case of partially-quenched QCD in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discussion of a new formalism for charge-symmetry breaking in the neutron-proton system
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the contribution of the neutron-proton mass difference to charge-symmetry breaking in then-p system and showed that if all terms of first-order in the mass difference are consistently retained the proposal is equivalent to the conventional distorted-wave methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pions in isospin asymmetric nuclei
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of medium modification of pion fields on the flavor nonsinglet structure function was studied using a pair of the lightest mirror nuclei, 3 He and 3 H.
Journal ArticleDOI
Overview of the discussion session on “what is a realistic picture of hadron structure?”
Journal ArticleDOI
Deep inelastic scattering from polarized deuterons
TL;DR: In this article, the spin-dependent structure function of the deuteron, g_1D, is calculated within a covariant framework and corrections to the convolution model at a level of half a percent for x below 0.7, increasing to more than five percent at larger x.
