Flavor symmetry breaking in the Δ sea

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of chiral symmetry in generating the sea flavor asymmetry in the proton has been investigated, and it is shown that a significant enhancement is expected around the opening of the $N\ensuremath{\pi}$ decay channel.

The NJL-jet model for quark fragmentation functions

TL;DR: In this article, a description of fragmentation functions which satisfy the momentum and isospin sum rules is presented in an effective quark theory, and results for the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model in the invariant mass regularization scheme are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Progress in the calculation and experimental determination of the strangeness contributions to nucleon form factors

TL;DR: The progress in lattice QCD, especially the capacity to calculate at ever lower quark masses, combined with modern techniques of chiral extrapolation, means that one can now determine the strange quark contribution to the vector form factors of the nucleon with remarkable precision as mentioned in this paper.
