Journal ArticleDOI
Pion exchange and the H1 forward spectrometer data
Anthony W. Thomas,C. Boros +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that pion exchange can not only account for leading neutron but also for a large fraction of the leading proton production in the H1 data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Charge symmetry breaking in spin-dependent parton distributions and the Bjorken sum rule
Ian C. Cloët,Roger Horsley,J.T. Londergan,Yoshifumi Nakamura,Dirk Pleiter,Paul E.L. Rakow,Gerrit Schierholz,H. Stüben,Anthony W. Thomas,Frank Winter,Ross D. Young,James Zanotti +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the first determination of charge symmetry violation (CSV) in the spin-dependent parton distribution functions of the nucleon was made by determining the first two Mellin moments.
Book
Proceedings of the Workshop on Nonperturbative Methods in Quantum Field Theory
TL;DR: Chiral symmetry and symmetry breaking QCD at finite temperatures and densities lattice and functional methods phenomenology and phenomenological approaches strong-coupling QED and other field theories.
Journal ArticleDOI
Color-dielectric model as an explanation of the Nolen-Schiffer anomaly
TL;DR: It is shown, using a local density approximation and standard nuclear structure properties, that for suitable choices of parameters this color-dielectric model can explain the Nolen-Schiffer anomaly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quasi-free $\pi^0$ photoproduction from the bound nucleon
K. Kossert,M. Camen,F. Wissmann,J. Ahrens,Jrm Annand,H. J. Arends,R. Beck,G. Caselotti,P. Grabmayr,O. Jahn,P. Jennewein,M.I. Levchuk,A.I. L'vov,J. C. McGeorge,A. Natter,V. Olmos de León,V.A. Petrun'kin,G. Rosner,Martin Schumacher,B. Seitz,F. Smend,Anthony W. Thomas,W. Weihofen,F. Zapadtka +23 more
TL;DR: In this article, a quasi-free photoproduction from the proton and neutron bound in the deuteron has been measured for $E_\gamma = 200\mbox{--}400$姫 MeV at the Glasgow photon tagger at MAMI, the Mainz 48 cm NaI(Tl) photon detector and the Gottingen SENECA recoil detector.
