Testing QCD with τ decays

TL;DR: In this paper, the invariant mass distribution of the hadronic state in τ decay can be used for testing fundamental aspects of the strong interactions, using standard QCD techniques, and they provide a direct way to simultaneously measure α s ( m τ 2 ) and the parameters characterizing the non-perturbative dynamics, allowing for a better control of the theoretical errors in the determination of α s(m τ 2 ).
Journal ArticleDOI

QCD Formulation of the tau Decay and Determination of Lambda (MS)

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple formulation of the inclusive and exclusive semi-hadronic decays of the tau lepton using QCD-duality finite energy sum rules (FESRs) was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Belle II Physics Book

E. Kou, +526 more
TL;DR: The physics program of the Belle II experiment, located on the intensity frontier SuperKEKB $e+e^-$ collider, is presented in this article, which includes a wide scope of physics topics: B physics, charm, tau, quarkonium, electroweak precision measurements and dark sector searches.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electric dipole moments in two-Higgs-doublet models

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors revisited the available constraints in the presence of mechanisms which are typically invoked to evade flavour-changing neutral currents in two-Higgs-doublet models.
Journal ArticleDOI

S-wave Kπ scattering in chiral perturbation theory with resonances

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed analysis of S-wave Kπ scattering up to 2 GeV is presented, making use of the resonance chiral Lagrangian predictions together with a suitable unitarisation method.
