TL;DR: A review of antiviral drugs, mechanism of action and antiviral agents reported against COVID-19 is presented in this article, where the authors concluded that they can increase the cell's resistance to a virus (interferons), suppress the virus adsorption in the cell or its diffusion into the cell, along with antimetabolites that causes the inhibition of nucleic acids synthesis.
