Exploration of low heat rejection engine characteristics powered with carbon nanotubes-added waste plastic pyrolysis oil

TL;DR: In this article , low heat rejection (LHR) engines powered by an emulsion WPO20 containing varying percentages of carbon nanotubes (CNT) are explored, and the LHR engine achieved the greatest brake thermal efficiency (BTE) of 31.7% as a result of the improved emulsification and vaporization induced by CNT-doped WPO 20.
Posted ContentDOI

Influence of Silica Nano-Additives on Performance and Emission Characteristics of Soybean Biodiesel Fuelled Diesel Engine

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of SiO2 nano-additives on the performance and emission characteristics of a diesel engine fuelled with soybean biodiesel was examined, and the results showed that with the addition of nano fuel, brake thermal efficiency (BTE) and brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) was increased by 3.48-6.39% and 5.81-9.88%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stalling angle predictions of symmetric aero foil by flow analysis

TL;DR: In this paper , an analysis of the 2D subsonic stream over a National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) 0012 airfoil at different approaches is done in an ANSYS R14.5 software.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental studies of solar still with tar‐coated blue metal stones: Energy and exergy study

TL;DR: In this article , performance studies of solar still (SS) were studied for the climatic conditions of Erode, India, and three different experiments were conducted: Conventional SS (CSS), CSS incorporated with blue metal stones, and SS incorporated with tar-coated blue metal stone.
