Guest Molecule-Responsive Functional Calcium Phosphonate Frameworks for Tuned Proton Conductivity

TL;DR: The synthesis, structural characterization, and functionality (framework interconversions together with proton conductivity) of an open-framework hybrid that combines Ca(2+) ions and the rigid polyfunctional ligand 5-(dihydroxyphosphoryl)isophthalic acid (PiPhtA) is reported, highlighting the importance of internal H-bonding networks that determine conductivity properties of hybrid materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes Formed between Nitrilotris(methylenephosphonic acid) and M2+ Transition Metals: Isostructural Organic−Inorganic Hybrids

TL;DR: The open-structured trihydrate forms a series of isostructural compounds with other divalent transition metal ions as well as with mixed-metal compositions, indicative that the hydrogen bonding controls the type of structure formed irrespective of the cation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure Determination of a Complex Tubular Uranyl Phenylphosphonate, (UO2)3(HO3PC6H5)2(O3PC6H5)2‚H2O, from Conventional X-ray Powder Diffraction Data

TL;DR: In this paper, the three-dimensional structure of a complex tubular uranyl phosphonate, (UO2)3(HO3PC6H5)2(O3PC 6H5 )2·H2O, was determined from laboratory X-ray powder diffraction data and refined by the Rietveld method.
