Sulfonic acid functionalized silica as an efficient heterogeneous recyclable catalyst for one-pot synthesis of 2-substituted benziimidazoles
TL;DR: An efficient one-pot synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazoles from o-phenylenediamine and aldehydes in the presence of sulfonic acid functionalized silica at room temperature is reported in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
An efficient procedure for the synthesis of substituted pyridines using KF·Al2O3
Journal ArticleDOI
A Facile Synthesis of 3-[(N-Alkylanilino)(aryl)methyl]indolesUsing TCT
TL;DR: In this article, three component reaction of indoles, benzaldehydes, and N-alkylanilines in the presence of 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine (TCT) afforded the corresponding 3-[(N-alkylonilino)(aryl)methyl]indoles at room temperature in high yields (87-95%) within 1 to 2.5 hours.
Journal ArticleDOI
New bioactive macrocyclic diterpenoids from Jatropha multifida.
Boddu Shashi Kanth,Avula Satya Kumar,Digambar Balaji Shinde,Kothapalli Hari Babu,Tuniki Venugopal Raju,Chityal Ganesh Kumar,Pombala Sujitha,Biswanath Das +7 more
TL;DR: Two new macrocyclic diterpenoids, multifidanol and multifidenol are isolated from the stem of Jatropha multifida and the cytotoxic and antimicrobial activities of these two constituents were examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficient Thiocyanation of Indoles Using Para-Toluene Sulfonic Acid
Biswanath Das,Avula Satya Kumar +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the indoles were treated with ammonium thiocyanate in the presence of para-toluene sulfonic acid, and the results showed that the resulting indoles can be obtained at room temperature in excellent yields.
