TL;DR: Results show that neither nilotinib nor everolimus represent valuable alternatives to the current treatment regimens against AE, and combined application of the kinase-inhibitors with albendazole did not lead to a synergistic or additive treatment efficacy compared to albENDazole treatment alone.
