HSP, Exercise, and Antioxidants
TL;DR: Anti-oxidant treatment with the vitamin E isoform γ-tochoferol is a potent inhibitor of exercise-induced expression of muscular Hsp72, and this fact may contribute to explain the findings from large clinical studies that antioxidant supplementation may have detrimental effects on morbidity and mortality.
