Modeling the impact of uncertainty in emissions trading markets with bankable permits

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of increased uncertainty over future input costs and output prices on the temporal distribution of emission is explored, and safety valves are suggested to reduce the impact of uncertainty in bankable emission trading markets.

Potential Source Environments for Microbial Communities in Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) in China

TL;DR: The results indicated that the dominant phyla in AS in each city were similar; Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Chloroflexi made up 94.53%-97.04% of the whole microbial communities.
Journal Article

Comparative analysis of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPRs) loci in the genomes of halophilic archaea

TL;DR: The results support the proposal that the leader sequence may function as recognition site by having palindromic structures in flanking regions, and the stem-loop secondary structure formed by repeat sequences may function in mediating the interaction between foreign genetic elements and CAS-encoded proteins.
Book ChapterDOI

Neuromodulation of Small Neural Networks in Crustacea

TL;DR: One of the important goals of motor systems research is to elucidate the neural networks that underlie simple rhythmic movements, which are extremely flexible and plastic, allowing the animal to adapt its behavior to changing demands of the environment.
