Journal ArticleDOI

Domain-wall conduction in ferroelectric BiFeO3 controlled by accumulation of charged defects.

TL;DR: It is shown that the local domain-wall conductivity can be tailored by controlling the atmosphere during high-temperature annealing, which has possible implications for engineering local conductivity in ferroelectrics and for devices based on domain walls.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Structure of Hydroxyapatite Nanorods Synthesized by Sonochemical Homogeneous Precipitation

TL;DR: Using a homogeneous precipitation method in an ultrasound field, this paper synthesized nanosized, plate-like hydroxyapatite (HAp), which consists of specifically oriented and laterally connected nanorods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of CaTiO3-NdAlO3 dielectric ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, an X-ray analysis of the (1−x)CaTiO3-ndAlO3 tie line revealed solid solubility across the entire compositional range.
Journal ArticleDOI

Air-stable monodispersed Mo 6 S 3 I 6 nanowires

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of a new air-stable nanowire material with the chemical formula Mo6S3I6 were reported, and the distinguishing features of the material are rapid one-step synthesis, easy isolation and controllable dispersion into small-diameter wire bundles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Weak polyion multilayer-assisted in situ synthesis as a route toward a plasmonic Ag/TiO2 photocatalyst.

TL;DR: Transmission electron, field-emission scanning electron, and atomic force microscopy methods were employed to evaluate the morphology and growth characteristics of the metallic and semiconductor nanocrystallites in the Ag(x)/TiO(2) composite thin films.
