Computer vision-based bridge displacement measurements using rotation-invariant image processing technique

TL;DR: This paper presents a method based on multiple-image processing bridge displacement measurements that includes enhanced robustness to image rotation and applies template matching and a homography matrix to measure the displacement that works well regardless of the angle between the smartphone camera and the target.
Journal Article

Effect of incorporation of self healing admixture (SHA) on physical and mechanical properties of mortars

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of self-healing admixture (SHA) on the physical and mechanical properties of mortars has been investigated and an overall improvement in compressive and flexural strength was observed with the inclusion of SHA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robust Construction Safety System (RCSS) for Collision Accidents Prevention on Construction Sites.

TL;DR: A robust construction safety system (RCSS), which can activate warning devices and automatically halt heavy equipment, simultaneously, to prevent possible collision accidents, which can significantly enhance construction site safety by pro-actively preventing collision of a worker/workers with heavy equipment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydration Mechanism of the Hydrogen-Rich Water Based Cement Paste

TL;DR: In this article, the effectiveness of the hydrogen-rich water in controlling the setting and the hydration behavior of cement was investigated, and the initial and final setting time of the control cement was measured to be 197 ± 6 and 257 ± 3 min, respectively, while the same is measured for the 0.5 ppm H2 water-based cement sample.
