Cu(I) complexes with thiosemicarbazides derived from p-toluenesulfohydrazide: Structural, luminescence and biological studies
Alice P. Borges,Zumira A. Carneiro,Fernando S. Prado,Jhonathan R. Souza,Leonardo H. F. Silva,Carolina G. Oliveira,Victor M. Deflon,Sérgio de Albuquerque,Natália Bueno Leite,Antonio E.H. Machado,Antonio Otavio T. Patrocinio,Pedro I. S. Maia +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a colorless Cu(I) complexes of composition [CuCl(PPh3)2(LR)] were characterized by spectroscopic methods and further studied by single crystal X-ray diffractometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fragmentation Study, Dual Anti-Bactericidal and Anti-Viral Effects and Molecular Docking of Cobalt(III) Complexes.
Laísa de P Fernandes,Júlia M B Silva,Daniel Oliveira Silva Martins,Mariana B. Santiago,Carlos Henrique Gomes Martins,Ana Carolina Gomes Jardim,Guedmiller S. Oliveira,Marcos Pivatto,Rafael A.C. Souza,Eduardo de Faria Franca,Victor M. Deflon,Antonio E.H. Machado,Carolina G. Oliveira +12 more
TL;DR: The results showed that the biological activity of cobalt(III) complexes is strongly influenced by the peripheral substituent groups at the N(4) position of the atc-R1− ligands, which provides support for future studies on this molecule aiming at its antibacterial and antiviral therapeutic application.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of gold(III) thiosemicarbazonate complex–loaded PLGA nanoparticles: characterization and sustained release studies
Raphael Tristão Cruvinel Silva,Luciana Facco Dalmolin,Jeferson Aparecido Moreto,Carolina G. Oliveira,Antonio E.H. Machado,Renata Fonseca Vianna Lopez,Pedro I. S. Maia +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) nanoparticles to deliver [AuCl(L1)] for Chagas' disease (CD) treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
