Journal ArticleDOI

Tumorigenicity studies of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration.

TL;DR: The tumorigenic potential of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) for the treatment of wet-type, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is reported and it is concluded that the iPSC-derived RPE was negligible.
Journal ArticleDOI

Base-Resolution Methylome of Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells Used in the First Trial of Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Based Autologous Transplantation.

TL;DR: The base-resolution methylome of the iPSC-derived retinal pigment epithelium (iRPE) used in the first-in-human trial of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-based autologous transplantation was delineated and should provide a useful guide for methylome analyses of other iPSS-derived cells.
