Journal ArticleDOI
Antibody-mediated inhibition of MICA and MICB shedding promotes NK cell-driven tumor immunity.
Lucas Ferrari de Andrade,Rong En Tay,Deng Pan,Adrienne M. Luoma,Yoshinaga Ito,Soumya Badrinath,Daphne Tsoucas,Bettina Franz,Kenneth F. May,Christopher Harvey,Sebastian Kobold,Jason Pyrdol,Charles H. Yoon,Charles H. Yoon,Guo-Cheng Yuan,F. Stephen Hodi,Glenn Dranoff,Kai W. Wucherpfennig +17 more
TL;DR: These antibodies inhibited tumor growth in multiple fully immunocompetent mouse models and reduced human melanoma metastases in a humanized mouse model and reactivates antitumor immunity.
Journal ArticleDOI
B cell homeostasis and follicle confines are governed by fibroblastic reticular cells
Viviana Cremasco,Matthew C. Woodruff,Lucas Onder,Jovana Cupovic,Janice M Nieves-Bonilla,Frank A. Schildberg,Jonathan L. Chang,Floriana Cremasco,Christopher Harvey,Kai W. Wucherpfennig,Burkhard Ludewig,Michael C. Carroll,Shannon J. Turley +12 more
TL;DR: This study indicates that adaptive immunity requires an intact FRC network and identifies a subset of FRCs that control B cell homeostasis and follicle identity and indicates a subset that established a favorable niche for B lymphocytes via production of the cytokine BAFF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abnormal B cell memory subsets dominate HIV-specific responses in infected individuals
Lela Kardava,Susan Moir,Naisha Shah,Wei Wang,Richard K. Wilson,Clarisa M. Buckner,Brian H. Santich,Leo J.Y. Kim,Emily E. Spurlin,Amy Nelson,Adam K. Wheatley,Christopher Harvey,Adrian B. McDermott,Kai W. Wucherpfennig,Tae-Wook Chun,John S. Tsang,Yuxing Li,Anthony S. Fauci +17 more
TL;DR: These findings provide valuable insight into virus-specific B cell responses in HIV infection and demonstrate that memory B cell abnormalities may contribute to the ineffectiveness of the antibody response in infected individuals.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Tumor Microenvironment Shapes Lineage, Transcriptional, and Functional Diversity of Infiltrating Myeloid Cells
Kutlu G. Elpek,Viviana Cremasco,Hua Shen,Christopher Harvey,Kai W. Wucherpfennig,Daniel R. Goldstein,Paul A. Monach,Shannon J. Turley +7 more
TL;DR: Analysis of the developmental and transcriptomic signatures of infiltrating myeloid cells from multiple primary tumors found that tumor-associated macrophages and neutrophils exhibited different frequencies, gene expression profiles, and functions dependent on cancer types but not locations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficacy of anti-ICOS agonist monoclonal antibodies in preclinical tumor models provides a rationale for clinical development as cancer immunotherapeutics
Christopher Harvey,Kutlu G. Elpek,Ellen Duong,Tyler Simpson,Chengyi J. Shu,Lindsey Shallberg,Matthew Wallace,Sriram Sathyanarayanan,Robert Mabry,Michael Briskin,Michaelson Jennifer,Thomas F. Gajewski +11 more
TL;DR: Jounce is developing a high affinity humanized agonist monoclonal antibody to be tested as both a monotherapy as well as in combination with other T cell checkpoints in solid tumor indications.
