Journal ArticleDOI
Standard Model Prediction for Direct CP Violation in K→ππ Decay.
Ziyuan Bai,Tom Blum,Peter Boyle,N. H. Christ,J. Frison,Nicolas Garron,Taku Izubuchi,C. K. Jung,Christopher Kelly,C. Lehner,R. D. Mawhinney,Christopher T. Sachrajda,A. Soni,Datong Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: The result for Re(ϵ^{'}/ϵ) provides a new test of the standard model theory of CP violation, one which can be made more accurate with increasing computer capability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Continuum limit physics from 2 + 1 flavor domain wall QCD
Yasumichi Aoki,Rudy Arthur,Thomas Blum,Peter Boyle,Dirk Brömmel,N. H. Christ,C. Dawson,Jonathan M. Flynn,Taku Izubuchi,Xiao-Yong Jin,C. K. Jung,C. Kelly,Min Li,A. Lichtl,M. Lightman,Meifeng Lin,Robert D. Mawhinney,Christopher M. Maynard,Shigemi Ohta,Brian Pendleton,Christopher T. Sachrajda,Enno E. Scholz,Amarjit Soni,J. Wennekers,James Zanotti,Ran Zhou +25 more
TL;DR: In this article, physical results obtained from simulations using 2+1 flavors of domain wall quarks and the Iwasaki gauge action at two values of the lattice spacing a, (a −1 = 1.73 (3) GeV and a − 1 = 2.28 (3 ) GeV) were obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI
Renormalization of quark bilinear operators in a momentum-subtraction scheme with a nonexceptional subtraction point
Christian Sturm,Yasumichi Aoki,N. H. Christ,N. H. Christ,Taku Izubuchi,Taku Izubuchi,Christopher T. Sachrajda,A. Soni,A. Soni +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extended the RI/SMOM scheme for bilinear operators to one with a nonexceptional, symmetric subtraction point and derived conversion factors to convert results obtained in lattice calculations into the MS? scheme.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spectator effects in inclusive decays of beauty hadrons
TL;DR: In this article, a model-independent study of spectator effects, which are responsible for the lifetime differences between beauty hadrons, is presented, which can be parametrized in terms of hadronic matrix elements of four four-quark operators.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is the Mass of the Higgs Boson About 10-GeV?
TL;DR: In this article, the authors make a systematic study of the phenomenology of a Higgs boson in this mass range, and find that it may be observable in ϒ decays and pp collisions, as well as in toponium decays.
