Deletion of IKZF1 and prognosis in acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Charles G. Mullighan,Xiaoping Su,Jinghui Zhang,Ina Radtke,Letha A. Phillips,Christopher B. Miller,Jing Ma,Wei Liu,Cheng Cheng,Brenda A. Schulman,Brenda A. Schulman,Richard C. Harvey,Richard C. Harvey,I-Ming Chen,I-Ming Chen,Robert J. Clifford,William L. Carroll,Gregory H. Reaman,W. Paul Bowman,Meenakshi Devidas,Daniela S. Gerhard,Wenjian Yang,Mary V. Relling,Sheila A. Shurtleff,Dario Campana,Michael J. Borowitz,Ching-Hon Pui,Malcolm A. Smith,Stephen P. Hunger,Cheryl L. Willman,Cheryl L. Willman,James R. Downing +31 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a cohort of 221 children with high-risk B-cell-progenitor ALL with the use of single-nucleotide-polymorphism microarrays, transcriptional profiling, and resequencing of samples obtained at diagnosis were studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
The molecular landscape of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia reveals recurrent structural alterations and age-specific mutational interactions
Hamid Bolouri,Jason E. Farrar,Timothy J. Triche,Rhonda E. Ries,Emilia L. Lim,Todd A. Alonzo,Todd A. Alonzo,Yussanne Ma,Richard A. Moore,Andrew J. Mungall,Marco A. Marra,Jinghui Zhang,Xiaotu Ma,Yu Liu,Yanling Liu,Jaime M. Guidry Auvil,Tanja Davidsen,Patee Gesuwan,Leandro C. Hermida,Bodour Salhia,Stephen Capone,Giridharan Ramsingh,Christian M. Zwaan,Sanne Noort,Stephen R. Piccolo,Stephen R. Piccolo,E. Anders Kolb,Alan S. Gamis,Malcolm A. Smith,Daniela S. Gerhard,Soheil Meshinchi +30 more
TL;DR: The results highlight the need for and facilitate the development of age-tailored targeted therapies for the treatment of pediatric AML.
Journal ArticleDOI
Re-evaluation of the linkage relationship between chromosome 11p loci and the gene for bipolar affective disorder in the old order amish
John R. Kelsoe,Edward I. Ginns,Janice A. Egeland,Daniela S. Gerhard,Alisa M. Goldstein,Sherri J. Bale,David L. Pauls,Robert Long,Kenneth K. Kidd,Giovanni Conte,David E. Housman,Steven M. Paul +11 more
TL;DR: Reanalysis of an Old Order Amish pedigree, to include several new individuals and two changes in clinical status, markedly reduces the probability of linkage between bipolar affective disorder and the Harvey-ras-1 oncogene and insulin loci on chromosome 11.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sequence of human FEN-1, a structure-specific endonuclease, and chromosomal localization of the gene (FEN1) in mouse and human.
TL;DR: The sequence of the human FEN1 gene is reported, identical to peptide sequence obtained from maturation factor-1, which is 1 of the 10 essential proteins for cell-free DNA replication.
Journal Article
Polymorphisms in the prostate cancer susceptibility gene HPC2/ELAC2 in multiplex families and healthy controls
Brian K. Suarez,Daniela S. Gerhard,Jennifer Lin,Beth Haberer,Loan Nguyen,Niki K. Kesterson,William J. Catalona +6 more
TL;DR: There is, however, little evidence for excess clustering of the T allele within the multiplex families known to be segregating this allele, and there is no evidence for linkage of prostate cancer to the HPC2/ELAC2 region of chromosome 17p11.2 in these families.
