Mustafa Kuntoğlu,Abdullah Aslan,Danil Yurievich Pimenov,Üsame Ali Usca,Emin Salur,Munish Kumar Gupta,Munish Kumar Gupta,Tadeusz Mikolajczyk,Khaled Giasin,Wojciech Kapłonek,Shubham Sharma +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of sensorial data on tool wear by considering previous published papers is discussed, and the main aim is to discuss the impact of sensual data on tools' wear and surface roughness.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface Modification of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy by Electrical Discharge Coating Process Using Partially Sintered Ti-Nb Electrode.
Chander Prakash,Sunpreet Singh,Catalin I. Pruncu,Vinod Mishra,Grzegorz Królczyk,Danil Yurievich Pimenov,Alokesh Pramanik +6 more
TL;DR: The proposed technology allows modification of the mechanical properties and surface characteristics according to an orthopedic implant’s requirements and reveals a higher adhesion strength, which permits to enhance the wear resistance of the Ti-64 alloy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sustainability assessment associated with surface roughness and power consumption characteristics in nanofluid MQL-assisted turning of AISI 1045 steel
Adel T. Abbas,Munish Kumar Gupta,Munish Kumar Gupta,Mahmoud S. Soliman,Mozammel Mia,Hussein Hegab,Monis Luqman,Danil Yurievich Pimenov +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used advanced cooling lubrication, i.e., nanofluid assistance, besides dry and flood cooling, during machining and used as the basis for sustainability assessment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigations of Machining Characteristics in the Upgraded MQL-Assisted Turning of Pure Titanium Alloys Using Evolutionary Algorithms
Gurraj Singh,Catalin I. Pruncu,Munish Kumar Gupta,Mozammel Mia,Aqib Mashood Khan,Muhammad Jamil,Danil Yurievich Pimenov,Binayak Sen,Vishal S. Sharma +8 more
TL;DR: It was shown that RHVT improved the results by nearly 15% for all of the responses, while the TLBO technique was found to be the best optimization technique, with an average time of 1.09 s and a success rate of 90%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modeling of Cutting Parameters and Tool Geometry for Multi-Criteria Optimization of Surface Roughness and Vibration via Response Surface Methodology in Turning of AISI 5140 Steel
Mustafa Kuntoğlu,Abdullah Aslan,Danil Yurievich Pimenov,Khaled Giasin,Tadeusz Mikolajczyk,Shubham Sharma +5 more
TL;DR: A good agreement between predicted and measured values was obtained with the developed model to predict surface roughness and vibration during turning of AISI 5140 within a 10% error range.
