Convergence of Parkin, PINK1, and α-Synuclein on Stress-induced Mitochondrial Morphological Remodeling.
Kristi L. Norris,Rui Hao,Liang-Fu Chen,Chun-Hsiang Lai,Meghan Kapur,Peter J. Shaughnessy,Dennis Chou,Jin Yan,J. Paul Taylor,Simone Engelender,Anna E. West,Kah-Leong Lim,Tso-Pang Yao +12 more
TL;DR: Under moderate mitochondrial stress conditions, parkin stimulates mitochondrial fusion instead of mitophagy by catalyzing K63-linked ubiquitination and inactivating α-synuclein, which provides a physiological context to functionally connect key PARK genes in the pathogenesis of Parkinson disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cord Blood (CB) APGAR Score May Be Predictive of Transplant Related Mortality (TRM), Overall Survival (OS) and Disease-Free Survival (DFS) for Plasma Depleted/Reduced CB Products
Robert Chow,B. Wang,Michelle Chow,Dennis Chou,T. Wu,Allen Lin,Lawrence Petz,Joanne Kurtzberg +7 more
TL;DR: CORD BLOOD APGAR SCORE MAY BE PREDICTIVE of TRANSPLANT RELATED MORTALITY, OVERALL SURVIVAL, and DISEASE free survival and disease free survival for PLASMA DEPLETED/REDUCED CB products for PLasma depleted/reduced CB products.
