Angel Rodriguez,Andreas Makris,M. Wu,Mothaffar F. Rimawi,A. Froehlich,Bhuvanesh Dave,SG Hilsenbeck,Gary C. Chamness,Michael T. Lewis,Lacey E. Dobrolecki,Dharamvir Jain,Sunati Sahoo,CK Osborne,Jenny C. Chang +13 more
TL;DR: A promising defective DNA repair gene expression signature appears to differentiate TN breast cancers that are sensitive to anthracyclines and resistant to taxane-based chemotherapy, and should be tested in clinical trials with other DNA-damaging agents and PARP-1 inhibitors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Locoregional recurrence in patients with triple-negative breast cancer: preliminary results of a single institution study.
TL;DR: Despite significantly lower AJCC stage, patients with triple-negative breast cancer who do not undergo radiotherapy have a significantly higher risk of locoregional recurrence.
