Clinical profile and main comorbidities of Spanish adults with Down syndrome.
TL;DR: A cross-sectional study of 144 adults with Down syndrome from the outpatient clinic of a tertiary care hospital in Madrid, Spain, recruited between February 2012 and March 2013, found that the most frequent clinical conditions of adults with DS were Cataracts (14, 61%), keratoconus (4, 17%), dementia (11, 48%), and seizures (6, 26%) as mentioned in this paper.

Evaluation of the impact of abdominal obesity on glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in adults with Down syndrome
TL;DR: It was concluded that the prevalence of overweight, obesity, and abdominal obesity was higher in adults with DS than in controls and WHR was a useful tool for the evaluation of abdominal obesity in this population.
