Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Utility of a New Automated Hepatitis C Virus Core Antigen Assay for Prediction of Treatment Response in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C.
Mi Na Kim,Hyon Suk Kim,Ja Kyung Kim,Beom Kyung Kim,Seung Up Kim,Jun Yong Park,Do Young Kim,Sang Hoon Ahn,Kwang Hyub Han +8 more
TL;DR: The HCV Ag assay may be used as a supplement for predicting treatment response in HCV infection, but not as an alternative to the HCV RNA assay.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of virologic response to tenofovir mono‐rescue therapy for multidrug resistant chronic hepatitis B
Sang Heun Lee,Sang Heun Lee,Jun Yong Park,Do Young Kim,Beom Kyung Kim,Seung Up Kim,Kijun Song,Hye Jin Ku,Kwang Hyub Han,Sang Hoon Ahn +9 more
TL;DR: TDF mono‐rescue therapy is an appropriate treatment for CHB with MD‐R, and the baseline HBV DNA level is a significant predictive factor for a virologic response.
Journal ArticleDOI
Locking range of a hybrid mode-locked monolithic DBR semiconductor laser at millimeter-wave frequencies
TL;DR: In this article, the detuning characteristics at 33 GHz of a hybrid mode-locked monolithic distributed Bragg reflector semiconductor laser were investigated and it was shown that the laser beat signal exhibited phase-noise less than -78 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz and 5 MHz offsets, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Phthalate Esters on Human Myometrial and Fibroid Cells: Cell Culture and NOD-SCID Mouse Data
Hyun-Jin Kim,Sung-Hoon Kim,Young Sang Oh,Seung-Ho Heo,Kang-Hyun Kim,Do Young Kim,Sa Ra Lee,Hee Dong Chae +7 more
TL;DR: Exposure to phthalate esters may influence uterine fibroid pathogenesis by increasing VEGF and collagen expression and upregulating AKT phosphorylation, which is suggested to influence angiogenesis, proliferation, and apoptosis in fibroids.
Journal ArticleDOI
Independent associations of circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D and parathyroid hormone concentrations with blood pressure among Koreans: The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES), 2009-2010.
Hyeonmok Kim,Yun Ey Chung,Soo Chul Jung,Hyunjung Im,Seo Young Yang,Do Young Kim,Eunheui Jeong,Beom Kyung Kim,Sung Ki Park +8 more
TL;DR: Both lower 25(OH)D and higher PTH may be independent factors for the development of hypertension in men and women.
