Self-Assembled Silica Nanostructures: Simultaneous Discrimination of Handedness, Pitch and Diameter of Helical Silica Nanotubes.
C Y Oh,Do Young Kim,S M Jin,T K Kim,Jongho Kim,Euh Duck Jeong,Myung Ho Hyun,E K Sim,Yongju Lee,Jong Sung Jin +9 more
TL;DR: The left- and right-handed helical silica nanostructures were obtained with the aid of organic templates, the formation of the nanostructure might follow a co-operation self-assembly mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Congenital Obstructive Müllerian Anomaly: The Pitfalls of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging-Based Diagnosis and the Importance of Intraoperative Biopsy.
TL;DR: A combination of physical examination, ultrasound, and MRI is suitable for preoperative work-up in the diagnoses of congenital obstructive anomalies, but it is recommended that a pathologic confirmation of tissue at the caudal leading edge be made in obstructive genital anomalies, in cases of presumptive vaginal or cervical dysgenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dysphagia Following Anterior Approach Cervical Spinal Surgery in a Patient with Ankylosing Spondylitis
TL;DR: A preoperative evaluation, including VFSS, should be considered before cervical spinal surgery, particularly in patients with ankylosing spondylitis presenting with a limited cervical range of motion, including a 59-year-old man who slipped and fell, resulting in a C7 vertebral body fracture.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stabilizing interface of novel 3D-hierarchical porous carbon for high-performance lithium–sulfur batteries
TL;DR: In this paper , a 3D-hierarchical porous carbon impregnated with sulfur, followed by coating with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), is used as a cathode for Li-S batteries.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevalence and Risk Factors of Cardiovascular Disease in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B.
Ho Soo Chun,Jae Seung Lee,Hye Won Lee,Beom Kyung Kim,Jun Yong Park,Do Young Kim,Sang Hoon Ahn,Seung Up Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the prevalence and risk factors of CVD in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) using data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys 2008-2011.
