TL;DR: Health-related quality-of-life scores among CCA patients changed over time and were related to age at recruitment and use of alternative medicine, which showed that patients who were 60 to 69 years old had higher HRQOL scores than did younger patients.

Cancer and HIV infection in Rwanda [letter]

TL;DR: There was no evidence in this study that HIV infection was associated with a large increase in the risk of cervical cancer, liver cancer or liver cancer (1/35 cases were HIV-positive) both of which are known to be caused by infections.
