TL;DR: The conceptual basis of the NKI-RS is described, including study design, sampling considerations, and steps to synchronize phenotypic and neuroimaging assessment, and it is hoped that familiarity with the conceptual underpinnings will facilitate harmonization with future data collection efforts aimed at advancing psychiatric neuroscience and nosology.
Journal ArticleDOI
COINS: An Innovative Informatics and Neuroimaging Tool Suite Built for Large Heterogeneous Datasets
Adam Scott,William Courtney,Dylan Wood,Raul de la Garza,Susan R. Lane,Margaret D. King,Runtang Wang,Jody Roberts,Jessica A. Turner,Jessica A. Turner,Vince D. Calhoun,Vince D. Calhoun +11 more
TL;DR: A description of COINS is provided with comparison to a valuable and popular system known as XNAT, the differences that may concern researchers in the context of multi-site, multi-organizational data sharing environments with intuitive ease of use and PHI security are emphasized as important attributes.
Journal ArticleDOI
