TL;DR: Investigating the association between exposure to welding fumes and the risk of biliary tract, male breast, bone, thymus cancer, cancer of the small intestine, eye melanoma, and mycosis fungoides among males in a European, multi-center case-control study found welding fumes could contribute to an increased risk of some rare cancers.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the incidence of lip cancer across different occupations in the Nordic countries and found that the highest SIRs were observed among male fishermen (SIR 2.26, 95% CI: 2.04-2.50), gardeners (Sir 1.60 and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to quantify the risk of lip cancers across occupational categories relative to the entire national populations.
