A follow-up study of cancer incidence among workers in manufacture of phenoxy herbicides in Denmark

TL;DR: The Swedish observation of an increased risk of STS following exposure to phenoxy herbicides unlikely to be contaminated with 2,3,7,8-TCDD supported, but several potential biases have to be taken into account in interpretation of this observation and these are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cancer incidence among firefighters: 45 years of follow-up in five Nordic countries

TL;DR: Examination of patterns of cancer among Nordic firefighters found potential exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, asbestos and shift work involving disruption of circadian rhythms may partly explain these results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Overview of important cervical cancer screening process values in European Union (EU) countries, and tentative predictions of the corresponding effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
