Journal ArticleDOI
Growth and magnetic properties of vertically aligned epitaxial CoNi nanowires in (Sr, Ba)TiO3 with diameters in the 1.8-6 nm range.
Vivien Schuler,Julian Milano,Julian Milano,Alessandro Coati,Alina Vlad,M. Sauvage-Simkin,Yves Garreau,Dominique Demaille,S Hidki,Anastasiia Novikova,Emiliano Fonda,Y. Zheng,Félix Vidal +12 more
TL;DR: The nanocomposite systems obtained display a uniaxial magnetic anisotropy with out-of-plane easy axis as shown through analysis of ferromagnetic resonance measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of Pd/MgO Catalysts: Role of Organometallic Precursor–Surface Interactions
Vladimiro Dal Santo,Laura Sordelli,Carlo Dossi,Sandro Recchia,Emiliano Fonda,G. Vlaic,Rinaldo Psaro +6 more
TL;DR: Pd(acac)2 was supported on a highly dehydroxylated and decarbonated magnesium oxide surface, on an untreated MgO surface (MgOAIR), and on a silica (SiO2450), and it was consistent with a predominant fraction of very small particles in close contact with surface basic sites as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrathin Ni nanowires embedded in SrTiO 3 : Vertical epitaxy, strain relaxation mechanisms, and solid-state amorphization
Xiaorong Weng,Marcel Hennes,Alessandro Coati,Adriana Vlad,Yves Garreau,M. Sauvage-Simkin,Emiliano Fonda,Gilles Patriarche,Dominique Demaille,Félix Vidal,Y. Zheng +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed analysis of ultrathin Ni nanowires, with diameters between 1.7 nm and 5.3 nm, vertically epitaxied in a Ni-SrTiO/O(001) matrix is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mn- or Cu- substituted LaFeO3-based three-way catalysts: Highlighting different catalytically operating modes of La0.67Fe0.8M0.2O3 (M=Cu, Mn)
Shreya Nandi,Jiang Xiang Wu,Pardis Simon,Nicolas Nuns,Martine Trentesaux,Asma Tougerti,Emiliano Fonda,Jean-Sébastien Girardon,Jean-François Paul,Anne-Sophie Mamede,Elise Berrier +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two distinct La-deficient catalysts of generic formula La 0.67 Fe 0.8 Mn 0.2 O 3, denoted as Cu-dLFO and Mn-dL FO, respectively, were prepared based on the conventional citrate complexation route and systematically investigated using complementary characterisation techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Size- and composition-controlled Pt─Sn bimetallic nanoparticles prepared by atomic layer deposition
Ranjith Karuparambil Ramachandran,Matthias Filez,Jolien Dendooven,Vladimir Galvita,Hilde Poelman,Eduardo Solano,Emiliano Fonda,Guy Marin,Christophe Detavernier +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-step synthesis procedure combining atomic layer deposition (ALD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) was proposed to obtain Pt-Sn bimetallics with a phase determined by the Pt/(Pt + Sn) atomic ratio of the bilayer.
