Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of nature and location of defects on bandgap narrowing in black TiO2 nanoparticles.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that black TiO(2) nanoparticles obtained through a one-step reduction/crystallization process exhibit a bandgap of only 1.85 eV, which matches well with visible light absorption.
Journal ArticleDOI

α-Fe2O3/NiOOH: An Effective Heterostructure for Photoelectrochemical Water Oxidation

TL;DR: In this article, a thin layer of photodeposited amorphous Ni-oxyhydroxide (NiOOH) was applied on hematite (α-Fe2O3) photoanodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pt and Au/TiO2 photocatalysts for methanol reforming: Role of metal nanoparticles in tuning charge trapping properties and photoefficiency

TL;DR: In this paper, an anatase loaded with Au and Pt nanoparticles by an impregnation-reduction method was investigated as for morphological, electronic (XPS) and photocatalytic properties in hydrogen production by methanol photoreforming.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bimetallic heterogeneous catalysts for hydrogen production

TL;DR: In this paper, a review examines the specific applications in reforming (including steam, autothermal/oxidative steam, aqueous phase, and dry reforming); catalytic partial oxidations, decomposition, and finally water photo-splitting and photo-reforming reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Glycerol steam reforming for hydrogen production: Design of Ni supported catalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of Ni catalysts in hydrogen production by glycerol steam reforming was studied, and the effect of the support (TiO 2, SBA-15 and ZrO 2 ) on the catalytic performance was evaluated.
