Effective rate analysis of MISO Rician fading channels

TL;DR: This paper considers the more general Rician fading model for multiple-input single-output (MISO) systems and derives a new, analytical expression for the exact effective rate, along with tractable expressions for the key parameters dictating the effective rate performance in the high and low signal-to-noise (SNR) regimes.

Can Massive MIMO Support Uplink Intensive Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived SINR expressions for cell-free massive MIMO with zero-forcing decoding, and showed that uplink power control is unnecessary, and that with 10 MHz effective bandwidth for uplink data transmission, in urban and suburban morphologies, on the 2 GHz band, 90/km2 and 32/km 2 single antenna AP's are enough to support 18 autonomous vehicles respectively.

Multi-Cell Massive MIMO Performance with Double Scattering Channels

TL;DR: This paper investigates the spectral efficiency (SE) of multi-cell Massive Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) using different channel models and considers the double scattering model — a prime example of a non-Gaussian channel for which it is intractable to obtain closed form SE expressions.

Harq ack/nack signaling for multi-carrier hsdpa

TL;DR: In this paper, techniques for signaling retransmission-related information in a multi-carrier wireless communication system supporting three or more carriers are discussed. But the authors focus on the first and second ACK/NACK groups.
