Love, Language, and Linear Algebra: Linguistic Modeling of Personality and Mate Preference

TL;DR: The authors used Latent Semantic Analysis to determine whether similarities in personality predicted similarities in responses to a romantic writing prompt (Landauer & Dumais, 1997) and calculated thematic cosines (a measure of relatedness) between each male and female participant.

Registered report: Moderators of the relationship between implicit and explicit measures of evaluation and identification

TL;DR: This paper explored how features of measured attributes and individual differences affect the relationship between implicit and explicit measures using existing data and found that self-presentation, distinctiveness, elaboration/importance, and complementarity moderated the relationship of implicit and implicit evaluations across individuals irrespective of attribute targets.
