Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic and antibacterial properties of 3-dentate carboxamide Pd/Pt complexes obtained via a benign route
Mahsa Kiani,Mojtaba Bagherzadeh,Soraya Meghdadi,Farzaneh Fadaei-Tirani,Kurt Schenk-Joß,Navid Rabiee +5 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Accessing the +IV Oxidation State in Molecular Complexes of Praseodymium
Aurélien R. Willauer,Chad T. Palumbo,Farzaneh Fadaei-Tirani,Ivica Zivkovic,Iskander Douair,Laurent Maron,Marinella Mazzanti +6 more
TL;DR: The solid state structure, UV-visible spec-troscopy, magnetometry, and cyclic voltammetry data, along with the DFT computations of the 2-PrPh complex unambiguously confirm the presence of Pr(IV).
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of a Heteroleptic Pd6L6L'6 Coordination Cage by Screening of a Virtual Combinatorial Library.
Sylvain Sudan,Ru-Jin Li,Suzanne M. Jansze,André Platzek,Robin Rudolf,Guido H. Clever,Farzaneh Fadaei-Tirani,Rosario Scopelliti,Kay Severin +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a selection approach that allowed the identification of a novel hexanuclear Pd cage containing two types of dipyridyl ligands, and their structure was elucidated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermodynamics and kinetics of protonated merocyanine photoacids in water.
Cesare Berton,Daniel Maria Busiello,Stefano Zamuner,Euro Solari,Rosario Scopelliti,Farzaneh Fadaei-Tirani,Kay Severin,Cristian Pezzato +7 more
TL;DR: Under powerful and continuous light irradiation, the dissociation constant (KMSa) of the protonated metastable state (cis-MCH) is assessed for the first time experimentally, and it is found that thermal ring-opening of SP is always rate-determining regardless of pH, whereas hydrolysis is reminiscent of what is found for Schiff bases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile N-functionalization and strong magnetic communication in a diuranium(V) bis-nitride complex
TL;DR: A diuranium(v) bis-nitride complex supported by siloxide ligands displays remarkable reactivity in ambient conditions with small molecules such as CS2, CO2,CO and H2 resulting in N–C and N–H bond formation.
