Abdul-Hamid M. Emwas,Raja Roy,Ryan T. McKay,Leonardo Tenori,Edoardo Saccenti,G. A. Nagana Gowda,Daniel Raftery,Daniel Raftery,Fatimah Alahmari,Lukasz Jaremko,Mariusz Jaremko,David S. Wishart +11 more
TL;DR: This review will highlight a number of emerging NMR techniques and technologies that are being used to strengthen its utility and overcome its inherent limitations in metabolomic applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic and microwave properties of SrFe12O19/MCe0.04Fe1.96O4 (M = Cu, Ni, Mn, Co and Zn) hard/soft nanocomposites
N.A. Algarou,Yassine Slimani,Munirah Abdullah Almessiere,Fatimah Alahmari,M.G. Vakhitov,M.G. Vakhitov,D.S. Klygach,D.S. Klygach,S.V. Trukhanov,A. V. Trukhanov,A. V. Trukhanov,A. Baykal +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis, structural characteristics and magnetism of hard and soft nanocomposites were reported, and the hard/soft compositions were manufactured via a one-pot reactions citrate sol-gel approach.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Electrospun TiO2 Nanofibers and Characterization of Their Antibacterial and Antibiofilm Potential against Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative Bacteria.
Mohammad Azam Ansari,Hani Manssor Albetran,Muidh Alheshibri,A. Timoumi,N.A. Algarou,Sultan Akhtar,Yassine Slimani,Munirah Abdullah Almessiere,Fatimah Alahmari,Abdulhadi Baykal,It Meng Low +10 more
TL;DR: The antibacterial and antibiofilm results suggest that TiO2 NFs can be used to coat various inanimate objects, in food packaging and in waste-water treatment and purification to prevent bacterial growth and biofilm formation.
Journal ArticleDOI
NMR as a "Gold Standard" Method in Drug Design and Discovery.
Abdul-Hamid M. Emwas,Kacper Szczepski,Benjamin Gabriel Poulson,Kousik Chandra,Ryan T. McKay,Manel Dhahri,Fatimah Alahmari,Lukasz Jaremko,Joanna Izabela Lachowicz,Mariusz Jaremko +9 more
TL;DR: The major applications of NMR spectroscopy in medical drug discovery and development are presented and the basic concepts, theories, and applications of the most commonly used NMR techniques are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Dy3+ Ions on the Microstructures and Magnetic, Electrical, and Microwave Properties of [Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4](Fe2–xDyx)O4 (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04) Spinel Ferrites
Munirah Abdullah Almessiere,Yassine Slimani,Hakan Güngüneş,A.D. Korkmaz,Tatiana Zubar,Sergei V. Trukhanov,Alex Trukhanov,Alex Trukhanov,Ayyar Manikandan,Fatimah Alahmari,Abdulhadi Baykal +10 more
TL;DR: A strong correlation among Dy concentration, structural parameters, and magnetic, electrical, and microwave properties was established, and it was observed that Dy3+ ions prefer to occupy the octahedral B site due to their large ionic radius.
