Journal ArticleDOI

Dissemination and Mechanism for the MCR-1 Colistin Resistance

TL;DR: The comparative genomics of two new mCR-1-harbouring plasmids isolated from the human gut microbiota are reported, highlighting the diversity in plasmid transfer of the mcr-1 gene and provids a first glimpse of mechanism for the MCR- 1-mediated colistin resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

HTQC: a fast quality control toolkit for Illumina sequencing data

TL;DR: The HTQC toolkit can generate reads quality assessment faster than existing tools, providing guidance for reads filtration utilities that allow users to choose different strategies to remove low quality reads.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genomic Insights into Intrinsic and Acquired Drug Resistance Mechanisms in Achromobacter xylosoxidans

TL;DR: This study provides new insights into the intrinsic and acquired drug resistance mechanisms in A.xylosoxidans, which will be helpful for better understanding the physiology of A. xylos Oxidans and the evolution of antibiotic resistance in this bacterium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative genomic analysis of Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates reveals extensive genomic variation and diverse antibiotic resistance determinants

TL;DR: It is shown that diverse antibiotic resistance determinants are present outside the RIs in A. baumannii, including antibiotic resistance-gene bearing integrons, the blaOXA-23-containing transposon Tn2009, and chromosomal intrinsic antibiotic resistance genes.
Journal ArticleDOI

TCRklass: A New K-String–Based Algorithm for Human and Mouse TCR Repertoire Characterization

TL;DR: An integrated pipeline, TCRklass, is developed using K-string–based algorithm that has significantly improved the accuracy and performance over existing tools for TCR repertoire analysis, and it demonstrated higher reliability on CDR3 identification and much less biased V/J profiling.
