NF-κB restricts NLRP3 inflammasome activation via p62-dependent mitophagy which eliminates mitochondrial signals

TL;DR: The “NF-κB-p62-mitophagy” pathway is a macrophage-intrinsic regulatory loop through which NF-κBs restrains its own inflammation-promoting activity and orchestrates a self-limiting host response that maintains homeostasis and favors tissue repair.

Semiautomated quantification of β-zone parapapillary atrophy using blue light fundus autofluorescence.

TL;DR: To evaluate the reproducibility of measurements of area of β‐zone parapapillary atrophy using blue laser fundus autofluorescence and confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy reflectance measurements and to assess agreement between the two imaging modalities.
