Journal ArticleDOI

Triptolide cooperates with chemotherapy to induce apoptosis in acute myeloid leukemia cells.

TL;DR: The results suggest that, by modifying the cell cycle kinetics, AraC sensitizes AML cells to apoptosis induced by low concentration triptolide, which warrants further clinical investigation for treatment of AML patients, especially elderly patients for whom low-dose AraC treatment could be improved by the addition of triPTolide.
Journal ArticleDOI

ABT-737 increases tyrosine kinase inhibitor-induced apoptosis in chronic myeloid leukemia cells through XIAP downregulation and sensitizes CD34(+) CD38(-) population to imatinib.

TL;DR: ABT-737 and TKI cooperate at several levels to induce apoptosis of CML cells lines, and the benefit of this association was also observed in CML hematopoietic progenitors, and a lethal effect wasAlso observed in the more immature CD34(+)CD38(-) TKI-insensitive population.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantification of the Mutant CALR Allelic Burden by Digital PCR: Application to Minimal Residual Disease Evaluation after Bone Marrow Transplantation

TL;DR: Digital PCR adapted to type 1 and 2 CALR mutations is an inexpensive, highly precise, and sensitive technique suitable for evaluation of myeloproliferative neoplasm patients during follow-up.
