Journal ArticleDOI

Disordered Distribution of K+ Ions Interlayered in KxTi2−x/3Lix/3O4(x = 0.8)

TL;DR: An integrated software system, REMEDY, has been developed for MEM-based whole-pattern fitting as discussed by the authors, which is applied to the determination of the crystal structure and electron densities for KxTi2−x/3Li
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutron Powder Diffraction Study of a Phase Transition in La0.68(Ti0.95Al0.05)O3

TL;DR: In this paper, the Rietveld profile-fitting analyses of the neutron data and the synchrotron diffraction profile revealed that the crystal symmetry of the low-temperature phase of La0.68(Ti0.95Al0.05)O3 is orthorhombic Cmmm (2ap× 2ap×2ap; p: pseudo-cubic perovskite).
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel techniques of neutron powder diffraction and their applications to superconducting oxides

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the time-of-flight (TOF) neutron powder diffractometer Vega, whose wide solid angle enables collecting intensity data very efficiently, for the structure refinement of (K 0.87 Bi 0.13 )BiO 3 prepared at high pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutron powder diffraction study of phase separation in La2CuO4+δ

TL;DR: In this article, three samples of superconducting La2CuO4+δ with δ values of 0.047, 0.073, and 0.132 were prepared by oxidizing La2cuO4 in aqueous solutions of KMnO4 at 50°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

2 × 2 Superstructure in Sodium Cobalt Oxide Superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the crystal structures of bilayer-hydrates of sodium cobalt oxide bilayer and showed that the host and guest layers are commensurate and have a 2 × 2 superstructure.
