ATRX In-Frame Fusion Neuroblastoma Is Sensitive to EZH2 Inhibition via Modulation of Neuronal Gene Signatures.
Zulekha A. Qadeer,David Valle-Garcia,Dan Hasson,Zhen Sun,April Cook,Christie B. Nguyen,Aroa Soriano,Anqi Ma,Lyra Griffiths,Maged Zeineldin,Dan Filipescu,Luz Jubierre,Asif Chowdhury,Orla Deevy,Xiang Chen,David B. Finkelstein,Armita Bahrami,Elizabeth Stewart,Sara M. Federico,Soledad Gallego,Fumiko Dekio,Mary Fowkes,David Meni,John M. Maris,William A. Weiss,Stephen S. Roberts,Nai-Kong V. Cheung,Jian Jin,Miguel F. Segura,Michael A. Dyer,Emily Bernstein +30 more
TL;DR: It is shown that ATRX IFF cells display sensitivity to EZH2 inhibitors, due to derepression of neurogenesis genes, including a subset of REST targets, which is put forward as a potential therapy for ATRx IFF neuroblastoma.
Journal ArticleDOI
EpCam is required for maintaining the integrity of the biliary epithelium.
Yougen Zhan,Yougen Zhan,Stephen C. Ward,Maria Isabel Fiel,Julie Teruya-Feldstein,Fumiko Dekio +5 more
TL;DR: This article found that TE patients showed a complete loss of EpCam expression in enterocytes and biliary epithelial cells, while the normal and TPN groups showed basolateral expression, indicating a defect in the apical-basal polarity of cholangiocytes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Florid Bacillus cereus Infection of the Placenta Associated With Intrauterine Fetal Demise.
TL;DR: Bacillus cereus is a gram-positive, rod-shaped bacterium that is commonly implicated in foodborne illness but has also become increasingly recognized as a source of serious non-gastrointestinal inf...
Journal ArticleDOI
Crohn’s-like Enteritis in X-Linked Agammaglobulinemia: A Case Series and Systematic Review
Fahad Khan,Hannibal Person,Fumiko Dekio,Makoto Ogawa,Hsi-en Ho,David Dunkin,Elizabeth Secord,Charlotte Cunningham-Rundles,Stephen C. Ward +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a critical appraisal of the clinical, radiological, endoscopic, and histological features associated with X-linked agammaglobulinemia-associated Crohn disease (CD)-like enteritis.
