Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase: Regulation, Structure, and Inhibition

TL;DR: A better understanding of iNOS’ complex functions is necessary before specific drug candidates can be identified for classical indications such as sepsis, heart failure, and pain; however, newer promising indications for iN OS inhibition, such as depression, neurodegenerative disorders, and epilepsy, have been discovered.
Journal ArticleDOI

General-purpose, wide field-of-view reflection imaging with a tabletop 13 nm light source

TL;DR: In this paper, the first 13-nm reflection-mode lensless imaging with high-harmonic beam at grazing incidence has been presented, which can image general samples with extreme ultraviolet and soft x-ray light.
Journal ArticleDOI

Total Synthesis of Tambromycin Enabled by Indole C–H Functionalization

TL;DR: A convergent synthesis of tambromycin was achieved by a 13-step route that leveraged recent developments in the field of C-H functionalization to prepare the complex indole fragment, as well as an efficient synthesis ofTambroline that featured a diastereoselective amination of homoproline.
