Differential Impact of Social and Monetary Reward on Procedural Learning and Consolidation in Aging and Its Structural Correlates.
Christopher E J Doppler,Christopher E J Doppler,Linda Meyer,Anna Dovern,Jaro Stühmer-Beckh,Peter H. Weiss,Peter H. Weiss,Gereon R. Fink,Gereon R. Fink +8 more
TL;DR: The differential effects of social reward in young (improved consolidation) and both social and monetary rewards in older (enhanced PL) healthy subjects point to the potential of rewards for interventions targeting aging-associated motor decline or stroke-induced motor deficits.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lesion-Function Analysis from Multimodal Imaging and Normative Brain Atlases for Prediction of Cognitive Deficits in Glioma Patients.
Martin Kocher,Martin Kocher,Christiane Jockwitz,Philipp Lohmann,Philipp Lohmann,Gabriele Stoffels,Christian Filss,Felix M. Mottaghy,Felix M. Mottaghy,Maximilian I. Ruge,Carolin Weiss Lucas,Roland Goldbrunner,Nadim Joni Shah,Nadim Joni Shah,Gereon R. Fink,Gereon R. Fink,Norbert Galldiks,Norbert Galldiks,Karl-Josef Langen,Karl-Josef Langen,Svenja Caspers,Svenja Caspers +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper, structural MRI, O-(2]-18F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine FET-PET, and neuropsychological testing were performed at a median interval of 14 months (range, 1-214 months) after therapy initiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatial Coding as a Function of Handedness and Responding Hand: Theoretical and Methodological Implications.
TL;DR: The results show that the Simon effect is substantially reduced in the field of the responding hand for all groups of participants, except for left-handed individuals responding with the left-hand, highlighting the importance of attention mechanisms in stimulus-response coding.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acute neuropathy with tetraparesis and respiratory insufficiency in cases of acute intermittent porphyria
TL;DR: The case of a life-threatening acute crisis with tetraplegia and respiratory insufficiency is reported on, resulting from a partial deficiency of the third enzyme in the haeme biosynthetic pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI
Successful treatment of thromboses of major arteries after ChAdOx1 nCov-19 vaccination.
Yasemin Goereci,Nina N. Kleineberg,Nina N. Kleineberg,Marie Madlener,Hannah Neuschmelting,Gereon R. Fink,Gereon R. Fink,Clemens Warnke,Henning Stetefeld +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported two cases of major arterial occlusions after ChAdOx1 nCov-19 vaccination, comprising a 42-year-old woman with thrombotic occlusion of the left carotid artery, and a 62-year old man with occlation of distal aorta and iliac arteries.
