TL;DR: Procedures for testing organic solar cell devices and modules with respect to stability and operational lifetime are described and generally agreed test conditions and practices are generally agreed to allow ready comparison between laboratories and to help improving the reliability of reported values.
Journal ArticleDOI
Progress on lead-free metal halide perovskites for photovoltaic applications: a review
TL;DR: Tin-based perovskites turned out to be most promising in terms of power conversion efficiency; however, also the toxicity of these tin-based Perovskite compounds is argued.
Journal ArticleDOI
Systematic Structural Characterization of the High-Temperature Behavior of Nearly Stoichiometric Silicon Oxycarbide Glasses
H. Brequel,Julien Parmentier,S. Walter,R. Badheka,Gregor Trimmel,Sylvie Masse,J. Latournerie,P. Dempsey,C. Turquat,A. Desmartin-Chomel,L. Le Neindre-Prum,Upali A. Jayasooriya,D. Hourlier,Hans-Joachim Kleebe,Gian Domenico Sorarù,Stefano Enzo,Florence Babonneau +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three silicon oxycarbide glasses (SiCO) with increasing C content were obtained through pyrolysis in inert atmosphere at 1000 °C of sol−gel derived siloxane networks containing Si−CH3 and Si−H bonds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced Performance of Germanium Halide Perovskite Solar Cells through Compositional Engineering
Indira Kopacic,Bastian Friesenbichler,Sebastian F. Hoefler,Birgit Kunert,Harald Plank,Thomas Rath,Gregor Trimmel +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that modifying the chemical composition of the germanium perovskite, i.e., introducing bromide ions into the methylammonium Germanium iodide perovsite, leads to a significant improvement of the solar cell performance along with a slight enhancement of the stability of the device, achieving power conversion efficiencies up to 057% in MAGeI27Br03 based solar cells with a planar p-i-n architecture using PEDOT:PSS as hole and PC70BM as electron
Journal ArticleDOI

Greyson Christoforo,Travis Currier,Vishal Shrotriya,Gregor Schwartz,Frederik C. Krebs +51 more
TL;DR: In this article, a large number of flexible polymer solar modules comprising 16 serially connected individual cells was prepared at the experimental workshop at Riso DTU and the functional devices were subjected to an inter-laboratory study involving the performance and the stability of modules over time in the dark, under light soaking and outdoor conditions.
