Biradical‐Featured Stable Organic‐Small‐Molecule Photothermal Materials for Highly Efficient Solar‐Driven Water Evaporation

TL;DR: A stable croconium derivative, named CR-TPE-T, is designed to exhibit the unique biradical property and strong π-π stacking in the solid state, which facilitate not only a broad absorption spectrum from 300 to 1600 nm for effective sunlight harvesting, but also highly efficient photothermal conversion by boosting nonradiative decay.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilization of cellulase on styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer nanoparticles with improved stability against pH changes

TL;DR: In this paper, a facile strategy to immobilize cellulase was developed in which crosslinked styrene and maleic anhydride copolymer nanoparticles (SMN) were conveniently synthesized as carrier by self-stable precipitation polymerization in the absence of any stabilizer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel strategy to prepare fluorescent polymeric nanoparticles based on aggregation-induced emission: Via precipitation polymerization for fluorescent lateral flow assay

TL;DR: In this paper, a strategy is developed for preparing the FPPs based aggregation-induced emission luminogens (AIEgen) through stabilized precipitation polymerization with maleic anhydride (MAH), styrene (St), AIE active TPE-1VBC as comonomers, which is initiated by 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) in ethyl butyrate.
