Journal ArticleDOI
Prolonged suppression of HBV in mice by a novel antibody that targets a unique epitope on hepatitis B surface antigen.
Tianying Zhang,Quan Yuan,Jing-Hua Zhao,Yali Zhang,Lunzhi Yuan,Ying Lan,Yu-Chieh Lo,Cheng-Pu Sun,Chang-Ru Wu,Jun-Fang Zhang,Ying Zhang,Jiali Cao,Guo Xueran,Xuan Liu,Xiaobing Mo,Wenxin Luo,Tong Cheng,Yixin Chen,Mi-Hua Tao,James Wk Shih,Qinjian Zhao,Jun Zhang,Pei-Jer Chen,Y. Adam Yuan,Ningshao Xia +24 more
TL;DR: The E6F6-like mAbs may provide a novel immunotherapeutic agent against human chronic HBV infection and was possibly associated with its effective in vivo opsonophagocytosis for viral clearance.
Journal ArticleDOI
A cell-penetrating whole molecule antibody targeting intracellular HBx suppresses hepatitis B virus via TRIM21-dependent pathway.
Jun-Fang Zhang,Hualong Xiong,Jiali Cao,Shaojuan Wang,Guo Xueran,Bi-Yun Lin,Ying Zhang,Jing-Hua Zhao,Yingbin Wang,Tianying Zhang,Quan Yuan,Jun Zhang,Ningshao Xia +12 more
TL;DR: A cell-penetrating whole molecule antibody targeting HBx (9D11-Tat) by the fusion of a cell penetrating peptide on the C-terminus of the heavy chain of a potent mAb specific to HBx is developed, offering a new approach to target intracellular pathogenesis-related protein by engineered cell- penetrating mAb expanding their potential for therapeutic applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
HBV infection-induced liver cirrhosis development in dual-humanised mice with human bone mesenchymal stem cell transplantation
Lunzhi Yuan,Jing Jiang,Xuan Liu,Yali Zhang,Liang Zhang,Jiaojiao Xin,Kun Wu,Xiaoling Li,Jiali Cao,Guo Xueran,Dongyan Shi,Jun Li,Longyan Jiang,Suwan Sun,Tengyun Wang,Wangheng Hou,Tianying Zhang,Hua Zhu,Jun Zhang,Quan Yuan,Tong Cheng,Ningshao Xia +21 more
TL;DR: This new humanised mouse model recapitulates the liver cirrhosis induced by human HBV infection, thus providing research opportunities for understanding viral immune pathophysiology and testing antiviral therapies in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI
A unique B cell epitope-based particulate vaccine shows effective suppression of hepatitis B surface antigen in mice
Tianying Zhang,Guo Xueran,Yangtao Wu,Xiao-Zhen Kang,Qingbing Zheng,Ruoyao Qi,Bin-Bing Chen,Ying Lan,Min Wei,Shaojuan Wang,Hualong Xiong,Jiali Cao,Bao-Hui Zhang,Xiao-Yang Qiao,Xiaofen Huang,Yingbin Wang,Mujin Fang,Yali Zhang,Tong Cheng,Yixin Chen,Qinjian Zhao,Shaowei Li,Shengxiang Ge,Pei-Jer Chen,Jun Zhang,Quan Yuan,Ningshao Xia +26 more
TL;DR: The novel particulate protein CR-T3-SEQ13 suppressed HBsAg effectively through induction of a humoural immune response in HBV-tolerant mice and may provide a novel immunotherapeutic agent against chronic HBV infection in humans.
Journal ArticleDOI
Baseline antibody level may help predict the risk of active human cytomegalovirus infection in a HCMV seropositive population.
TL;DR: The baseline anti-pp150 IgG was negatively correlated with the risk of H CMV infection and could be an excellent predictor of HCMV infection in HCMVs seropositive populations.
