Deep-learning-based ciphertext-only attack on optical double random phase encryption
TL;DR: The proposed learning-based COA method dispenses with not only the retrieval of random phase keys but also the invasive data acquisition of plaintext-ciphertext pairs in the DPRE system and shows that the plaintext can be predicted in realtime from an unknown ciphertext alone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extending the depth-of-field of imaging systems with a scattering diffuser.
TL;DR: The results of numerical simulation showed that more high-frequency components existed in the defocused OTF curve when the exit pupil of the imaging system exhibited a random phase modulation, which proved the important role of the scattering diffuser in extending the DOF of imaging systems.

Generation of Radial Polarized Lorentz Beam with Single Layer Metasurface
J. Guo,J. Guo,Xinke Wang,Jingwen He,Huan Zhao,Shengfei Feng,Peng Han,Jiasheng Ye,Wenfeng Sun,Guohai Situ,Yan Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a radially polarized Lorentz beam was demonstrated in the terahertz waveband with a single layer metasurface composed of cross antennas of various sizes and orientation.

Resolution enhancement in digital holographic microscopy with structured illumination
TL;DR: In this paper, a digital holographic microscope is presented, wherein the sample is illuminated by structured light to enable the capture of additional object spatial frequencies, and reconstructed images with increased spatial resolution are obtained by separating and synthesizing bandwidths of different frequency regions in the Fourier domain.
