Journal ArticleDOI
Application of response surface methodology and genetic algorithm for optimisation of electro-discharge diamond face grinding of tungsten carbide-cobalt composite
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a mathematical model to predict the relation between input-output parameters using response surface methodology (RSM), coupled with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) to optimise the process parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elucidating the Drought Responsiveness in Wheat Genotypes
Ankita Pandey,Rinki Khobra,H. M. Mamrutha,Zeenat Wadhwa,Gopalareddy Krishnappa,Gyanendra Singh +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors present a review of wheat traits for the development of drought-tolerant wheat varieties, with a focus on making distinct categories of the wheat cultivars/advanced breeding lines, as tolerant, moderately tolerant or susceptible to drought stresses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Erosion wear analysis of HVOF coated Colmonoy-88 and Stellite-6 micron layers on pump impeller steel by using the Taguchi's approach
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of two HVOF-coated micron layers (Colmonoy-88 and Stellite-6) on pump impeller steel (SS-410) by using Taguchi's method was analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genetic diversity in the Tams1 gene of Theileria annulata (Duschunkowsky and Luhs, 1904) infecting cattle.
V.R. Kundave,Anil Kumar Nehra,Anil Kumar Nehra,Hira Ram,Ansu Kumari,Munazah Shahzad,T.S. Vinay,Rajat Garg,Partha Sarathi Banerjee,Partha Sarathi Banerjee,Gyanendra Singh,Ashok K. Tiwari +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the genetic diversity in the Tams1 gene (733 bp) of Theileria annulata along with the sequence, phylogenetic and haplotype analyses of the Indian isolates.

Effect of Application of Various Inputs by the Farmers and the Yield of Spring Maize Hybrids
TL;DR: The data suggested that farmers in Kapurthala district mainly opt for spring maize hybrids namely DKC 9108, 31Y45, Dow 2244 and P 1844 and achieved an average gross return of Rs 70,104 to Rs76,860/ha.
