Magnetic biochar catalyst derived from biological sludge and ferric sludge using hydrothermal carbonization: Preparation, characterization and its circulation in Fenton process for dyeing wastewater treatment

TL;DR: A methodology is described that minimizes the produced sludge and enables sludge internal recycling in a dyeing wastewater treatment plant and could be recycled as a catalyst in dyeingewater treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal synthesizing sludge-based magnetite catalyst from ferric sludge and biosolids: Formation mechanism and catalytic performance.

TL;DR: Sludge-based magnetite catalyst (SBMC) containing Fe3O4 was synthesized by hydrothermal of biosolids and ferric sludge, which is a promising wasted sludge recycling way, and verified as an efficient Fenton-like catalyst for aniline with 77.9% removal efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of wastewater biological phosphorus removal under long-term exposure to CuNPs: adapting toxicity via microbial community structure adjustment

TL;DR: It was found that the terribly deteriorated phosphorus removal process under shock load of CuNPs returned to a normal level after long-term exposure to 50 mg L−1 ofCuNPs; also, the inhibited transformations of intracellular metabolites, such as polyhydroxyalkanoates and glycogen were gradually recovered.
Journal ArticleDOI

Potential values of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues for intratumoral microbiome analysis in breast cancer

TL;DR: In this paper , the microbial communities of Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and fresh frozen (FF) tumor samples from 30 participants diagnosed with BC deploying 16S rRNA sequencing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clinical Characteristics and Risk Factors of Periprocedural Myocardial Injury in Patients with Elective PCI in a TCM Hospital

TL;DR: Patients with UA who received elective PCI in TCM institutions may have clinical characteristics including multiple accompanying diseases and high stenosis coronary artery, in which the incidence of poor blood glucose control and high rate of three-vessel coronary disease are particularly significant.
