Ketting,Simon Tavaré,Eric A. Miska,Eric A. Miska +22 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Piwi acts upstream of an endogenous siRNA pathway in Tc3 silencing, which might suggest a link between piRNA and siRNA function.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Rac1 Polybasic Region Is Required for Interaction with Its Effector PRK1
Rakhee Modha,Louise J. Campbell,Daniel Nietlispach,Heeran R. Buhecha,Darerca Owen,Helen R. Mott +5 more
TL;DR: It is shown that HR1b binds to the C-terminal end of the effector loop and switch 2 of Rac1, the first structural demonstration that the C terminus of a G protein forms a novel recognition element for effector binding.
