Left-handed DNA-PAINT for improved superresolution imaging in the nucleus.

TL;DR: Left-handed DNA (L-DNA) oligomers that do not hybridize to naturally present R-DNA are introduced and it is demonstrated that L-DNA PAINT has the same specificity and multiplexing capability as R- DNA PAINT, but greatly improves specific visualization of nuclear target molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Septin pairs, a complex choreography

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that septin complexes assemble as paired filaments in vivo and revealed new insights into septin organization during cytokinesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Open-source recombinant monoclonal secondary nanobodies

TL;DR: Ewers outlines a toolbox of recombinant secondary nanobodies produced in E. coli, provided open source by the study from Pleiner, Bates, and Görlich.
Posted ContentDOI

A homozygous genome-edited Sept2-EGFP fibroblast cell line

TL;DR: A genome-edited rat fibroblast cell line expressing Septin 2 (Sept2) coupled to enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) coupled with EGFP is generated and it is found that endogenous Sept2-EGFP exhibits expression levels, localization and incorporation into cellular septin complexes similar to the wt in these cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled grafting expansion microscopy.

TL;DR: In this article , an agent combining targeting, fluorescent labeling and gel linkage is proposed to solve the problem of weak signal in expansion microscopy, which is due to insufficient surface grafting of fluorophores into the hydrogel.
